Ghana will accelerate the market transformation of split air-conditioning from conventional low-efficiency units using high-GWP refrigerants to high-efficiency R290 green split ACs. The programme combines financial incentives, green public procurement, supply-chain development, technician training and certification, awareness raising, and end-of-life refrigerant recovery and destruction.
