This programme of action aims to expand access to certified seed and genetic stock by strengthening regional seed banks, hatcheries, and community-based multiplication schemes. By ensuring both improved and indigenous varieties are available locally, farmers and fishers will have reliable, affordable inputs tailored to their needs. This approach enhances resilience by protecting genetic diversity, improves yields through quality inputs, and reduces dependence on costly imports.
